“They Start Hanging People, We Will Take Action”: Trump Issues Final Warning to Tehran
United States President Donald Trump has dramatically escalated his rhetoric against the Iranian government, warning of “very strong action” should the regime proceed with the execution of detained anti-government protesters. In an exclusive interview, the President made it clear that the US is evaluating all options—military and diplomatic—as reports emerge of imminent hangings in Tehran’s Evin prison.

Escalation on the Ground
The warning comes as Iran grapples with its most significant unrest since 2022. Human rights groups report that at least 2,586 individuals have been killed in the latest crackdown, with over 18,000 currently in detention. Iran’s Judiciary Chief, Gholamhossein Mohseni-Ejei, recently signaled a shift toward “expedited trials and executions” to suppress the movement.
While Trump later told reporters he had received information that the “killing in Iran is stopping,” he maintained that the US remains on high alert. The Iranian Foreign Ministry has responded by labeling the protests an “internal war” incited by foreign powers and has warned of “decisive retaliation” against any US interference.
