SRINAGAR / JAMMU: Jammu and Kashmir is likely to experience predominantly dry weather conditions over the next 10 days, accompanied by occasional brief spells of rain and thundershowers at isolated to scattered pockets, the Meteorological Centre Srinagar stated on Friday.

Daytime and night temperatures across most stations in Jammu and Kashmir continued to hover noticeably above seasonal normal, offering warm conditions across both divisions.

Temperatures Settle Above Normal Across J&K

Unusually warm conditions prevailed across the Valley and the Jammu plains. Summer capital Srinagar recorded a maximum temperature of 33.2°C, which is 5 notches above normal, while the minimum settled at 16.4°C (2°C above normal).

Winter capital Jammu registered a daytime high of 34.3°C (1.4°C above normal) and an overnight low of 25.4°C.
