NEW DELHI / JAMMU — Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi, presenting him with a specially curated coffee table book documenting the outcomes and public outreach of the Nasha Mukt Jammu Kashmir Abhiyan – 100 Days Campaign.

The publication, conceptualized and published by the Department of Information and Public Relations (DIPR), J&K, serves as a visual chronicle of the administrative, enforcement, and community-driven initiatives executed during the intensive anti-drug drive.

Highlights of the 100-Day Anti-Drug Mission

  • District-Wide Outreach: The campaign featured extensive public mobilization spearheaded directly by the Lieutenant Governor, who led awareness rallies and public interactions across all 20 districts of Jammu and Kashmir.
  • Multi-Pronged Strategy: Beyond strict enforcement and anti-narcotics operations, the initiative emphasized preventive counseling, youth engagement, de-addiction infrastructure, and community participation.
  • Stakeholder Involvement: The drive saw widespread participation from student bodies, civil society groups, local youth organizations, and law enforcement agencies across both divisions.

Comprehensive Review of J&K Affairs

During the high-level meeting, LG Sinha provided Prime Minister Modi with a detailed briefing on key administrative and socio-economic affairs in Jammu and Kashmir.

Discussions centered on:

  • Security Environment: The prevailing security grid, counter-narcotics operations, and border area stability.
